    Pro Motorcross: Lawrence Brothers dominate at the Spring Creek National Motocross

    In July every year, Spring Creek motocross park in Millville_Minnesota hosts a round of the Pro Motocross Championship and is known as Spring Creek National.


    This year, it ran as round 7 of the 2023 Pro Motorcross Championship slated for 15th July.
    Last weekend, Hunter and Jett Lawrence set a record by becoming the first pair of brothers to win an AMA Pro motocross Championship event on the same day.


    The two Australian brothers, Hunter and his young brother Jett Lawrence dominated in both the 250cc and 450cc respectively at Spring Creek National.


    An American racing scene was always the dream for the two brothers and it came true when were both snapped up for the 2019 season by the Geico Honda team.


    In 2020, Hunter made immediate impressions by scoring two overall podium finishes in the AMA championship before injury ravaged his season forcing him to retire.


    Jett who was innitially racing with the team’s amateur squad made it to the Pro team, taking the 2020 Rookie of the year Honors. The next year, we saw he moved to the factory CRF250R bike with Team Honda.


    With Team Honda HRC, Jett earned the 2021 and 2022 AMA Pro Motorcross Championships with his brother coming third in both years.
    In 2023, both Hunter and Jett were crowned 2023 Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250SX champions in the East and West region respectively as Jett went on to win the West title just a week after his elder brother triumphed in the East.


    Jett Lawrence later confirmed to be switching to the 450 class for the 2023-24 season after wrapping up his 250 career with a fourth AMA championship. His elder brother was to continue with the 250 class.


    Hunter Lawrence currently tops the 250cc category Championship standings with over 260 points after he managed to triumph at Spring Creek.


    Jett Lawrence continues with his unbeaten streak in the 450cc category as he triumphed at Spring Creek coming as his seventh victory in the pro motorcross season so far.
    Jett came from third to first as Chase Sexton crushed after a couple of turns.


    With over 350 points, Jett tops the 450cc Championship standings making it 81 points difference with Yamaha’s Dylan Ferrandis who is second.
