42 Cars Flagged Off to Start IUEA Jinja Rally”

The second round of Uganda National Rally Championship has been flagged off at Source of Nile Hotel in jinja this Friday evening.

The town mayor Mr. majidu Batumbuze flagged off 42 cars out of initially 48 registered entries for the event. Cars will run two stages Team KG1 stage 23.22km long and Chloride 1 stage 18.35km tomorrow morning [Saturday] before they head to Hered Grounds for the super special stage in the afternoon.

HapaSport learned that the Ascending order will be used in the event, where CRC class will start first, then 2wd and lastly NRC2 class. Shafique Ssendagire co-driven by Immaculate Majjuma will hit the road first, followed by Amir Kavuma co-driven by Mustapha Kanakulya yet Ponsiano Lwakataka will come last.

The reverse order is applied to improve on safety standards and so far it has worked well in the previous events where practiced
