All set for the 46th edition of Rallye Bandama

By Robert Nkolo [Rob Styles]

The FIA African Rally Championship round one is days away from now, Yamoussoukro as always will host the 2020 edition Bandama rally as local drivers face off with one and only foreign South African Guy Botterill of Wild Cat Racing Team.

Gary Chaynes will be out to prove that he’s still lethal after a disappointing 2019 edition, where he retired with turbo issues on day two after a superb start during SSS, beating winner Manvir Baryan in Skoda R5 by 2.7 seconds.

Tino Abondio the NRC champion 2019 is also optimistic and looking forward to win his first Bandama in the Mitsubishi Evo 9.

Fredric Nobuo is also set to take on anyone and he’s ready to fly the fat Evo x to the podium

Other drivers who are ready to grace the event are Fredric Gigault, lady driver Aïssata Soumaoro in the Peugeot 206 among others. The event is kicking off on 21st – 23rd this weekend
