The long wait has come to an end finally. The anticipated Uganda NRC 3 will take place from 9th-10th April 2021 as confirmed by the organizing club officials of SMC.

The clack of course manager (COC) Jared Karera told Hapasport that, everything is set for the event to go on and the club will strictly adhere to covid guidelines in line with the ministry of health and National council of sports.
The event will run in the greater Masaka region with no fans, and only for one day where 90% will be closed routes to limit the numbers of thirsty rally hunters.

There will be no spectator maps, spectator sections nor a circuit as it’s been a norm previously.
Entries will open on Monday 8 – 30th March as the closing date at FMU head offices Lugogo. The reconnaissance is scheduled between 2nd to 8th April, as scrutineering starts at exactly 8:00 – 15:00 hours on Friday 9th.
In the morning of the 10th, cars will tackle a total distance of 126km competitive and 60km of liaison. Only four sections will be done and two of them will be repeated to mark the end of the rally.
The event will be the 3rd round on the continued calendar of 2020 due to the suspension of all sports activities as a result of the covid 19 pandemic.
