On the 14th September 2021, the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda unveiled and launched the fully equipped state of art medical ambulance received from Ruparelia Foundation together with Victoria university-faculty of health science.
The ambulance was donated in a bid to promote the safety and health of competitors, support personnel, and all fans of the sport.
Rajiv Ruparelia handed the ambulance to the FMU officials led by president Dipu Ruparelia who received it from Kabila Country Club in Kampala.
“This is one of the many achievements we’re looking up to. Our game needs much support especially on safety side and the ambulance is a step” Rajiv said at the giveaway ceremony.
FMU president Dipu thanked all those who made it become a reality.
“This is a huge milestone and a great achievement for the sport and the fraternity as a whole.
Despite the challenges we’ve faced since we came into administration, this is the start of one of many assets we’ve acquired, and is very critical in helping our medical commission in emergency evaluations,” Dipu said before lauding the federation’s marketing team.
For the clocks, the federation has managed to clear them as they have been outstanding since FMU got a grant in 2015.
The clocks will be ready to use in the future events.
