Tanzania will host the 2021 African rally championship (ARC) round 3 starting from 23-25th July at Highland Estates Ubena in Dar-es-Salam.
The competition is expected to be steef after more than 10 foreign drivers have registered for the upcoming coming event.
Eight entries from Kenya led by Karan Patel will spice up the event scheduled on 23-25th July 2021.
Among other Kenyan teams are Carl Tundo, Nikil Sachania, Josiah Kariuki, Akif Virani, the FIA young drivers of Mcrae Kimathi, Jeremy Wahome, and Hamza Anwar.
Riyaz Ismail is another Kenyan to participate in the event though switching the car and driver from Hamza Anwar, to call notes for his longtime Tanzanian counterpart Gurgit Dhani.
Ravi Chana from Kenya will also call notes for Manveer Birdi.
Guy Botterill from south Africa the ARC championship table leader is fully expected and already fired up for the event.
Uganda’s 2019 champion Yasin Nasser is another foreign driver on the list as of 7th July.
As more regional drivers are expected to register, the late entries will only be accepted up to 14th july as an extension, beyond that date no entries will be granted.
