The quest for the African rally championship title will resume next weekend in Lusaka with the Sarago Zambia international rally counting as round 4 on the calendar starting from 24-26th September 2021.
Top contenders have already set off from theirs various countries destined to Zambia to face off with homes boys as they will battle for honors and championship points.
Kenya’s Carl flash Tundo Racing under Minti Motorsport UK, is leading the pack with 60 points from three rounds, South Africa’s Guy Botterill of Gazoo Racing south Africa and Wildcat Racing is sitting second on the table with 49 points, yet Uganda’s Team Moil driver Yasin Nasser is third having collected 28 points from the previous rounds.
The above-mentioned three crews are on the move to Zambia and already confirmed their participation in the event.
Among the local crews expected are Zubair Essa, Munah Singh JR., Juba Racing team who have been out of action for a while, and the usual on form challengers like Farook Tickley, Mujo Simakoloyi, Kleevan Gomes, Leroy Gomes among others are expected to enter the event.
Lusaka Motorsports club showgrounds will host the super special stage as competitive sections will head to Kasupe Area and Lusaka west.
