Following an action-packed start in the Stoni Athi river_Guru Nanak rally, the 2020 KCB powered Kenya National Rally Championship is heading to Laikipia county.
Laikipia County is located on the Equator in the former Rift Valley province The county borders six counties: Meru and Nyeri to the south, Nyandarua to the southwest, Samburu to the north, Isiolo to the northeast and Baringo to the west. Laikipia has two major urban centers: Nanyuki to the southeast, and Nyahururu to the southwest.
This time the Rally will be run between Nyahururu and Rumuruti and will be called KCB Nyahururu Rally. All brand new stages includes the opening 31.43 kilometers OL Maisor stage followed by 33.93 kilometers Sosian stage, plus the 19.32-kilometer Aiyam power stage totaling to Five stages over a competitive distance of 150.04 kilometers make up the Nyahururu rally with both Maisor and Sosian stage run twice Aiyam stage will be run once’s as the Power Stage of the Rally.
The KCB Nyahururu Rally will be the 2nd round of eight events calendar to count for Kenya National Rally Championship points in 2020.,
The event will be organized by Rift Valley Motor Sports Club
The scrutineering of the rally cars will be on 7th/ March at Panari Hotel in Nyahururu and ceremonial start will be at KCB Building, Subukia Road, Nyahururu in the following day.
