The wildcat energy drink sponsored driver of team wildcat racing is more than ready to conquer Africa starting from Ivory Coast’s Bandama rally.

Boterill who is co-driven by Simon Vacy-lily and team had two full  Pre  event test  runs in the outskirts of Durban to see the Toyota Etios R4 beast in perfect condition before departing for the event in Yamoussoukro Ivory Coast.

With the start of 2020 FiA African Rally Championship season two weeks away, the signs are clear the 3 times Kampala cement sponsored driver Manvir Baryan will not defend the ARC title for the fourth time due to the deadly crash he got last year 2019.

Rumors are going around that we may not see Manvir racing soon though we were unable to confirm this.

Hapa-Sport contacted Wildcat racing team and the team manager stressed that “the team is focusing on ARC this year mainly, since the logistics of the car to all ARC host nations is quite a challenge, the team might miss the Zambian championship or we shall resort to the Toyota Run X s2000 to honor our sponsors, but the Toyota etios will only be running the ARC events” the wildcat racing team manager Mr Elmandy Gumboh  told Hapa-sport.

“We tested the car in Durban and felt good during the two full runs, and we hope to do Ivory Coast, South Africa, Rwanda, Zambia and WRC Kenya Safari rally”.

The 46th edition of Rallye Bandama will traverse the familiar stages in the famous region of Yamoussoukro starting on 21-23rd February 2020.
