The WRC season continues with rally Mexico, formerly known as rally America The first true gravel rally of the season. And the beginning of eight non-stop gravel Rallies of 2020 season. Mexico, Argentina, Portugal, Italy, Kenya, Finland, New Zealand, and turkey
Rally Mexico is known to be the hottest event on the WRC calendar, with High temperatures around 30 °C, Rally Mexico is also the highest round of the season. The route peaks at 2,700m above sea level, where it’s said that the thinner air reduces engine power by as much as 20 percent.
Road position will be key in Rally Mexico for the hopes of those further down the championship order and this could mean that drivers like Teemu Suninen, Ott Tanak and E. Lappi will be getting favorable road position and have high chance to feature in the top spots at the end of the first day as the first cars on the road have to deal with loose gravel.
